Plant Growth and Development is a 3-unit Major Course of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture which tackles the basic principles, concepts, and processes related to how plants growth, develop, and mature. You will learn in this course the following knowledge: cellular basis of growth, types and stages of growth, concepts on growth and development, dynamics of growth, environmental and plant factors affecting growth and development, effects of growth regulators, morphogenesis, tropism and plant movements, abscission, apical dominance, seed germination and dormancy, juvenility, reproductive physiology and flowering, and senescence.
